The Patty Jett Summer Art Program

July 20-31, 2026

The Cedar Key Arts Center sponsors the Patty Jett Summer Art Program each summer, at the end of July.  The children are introduced to a variety of art media and are encouraged to express their creativity.  Community Volunteers continue the legacy of Ms. Patty to ensure each child has fun and creates projects they are proud of.  The final day of the program is the “Children’s Art Show” where each child’s projects are displayed in the gallery for family, friends and community to view.

Each student is introduced to various art mediums including pottery, mosaic, silk painting, fabric art, drawing, painting, printing and more. These classes are taught by individual artists with assistance from volunteers.

  • Elementary classes are 9-11 a.m. (limited to 16 students)
  • Teen classes are 1-3 p.m. (or 4 p.m. depending on the project) and are limited to 10 students

The program charges a modest fee that covers the two-week program.

(Scholarships are available)

Thank you to everyone who has supported this program through the years by volunteering, attending the exhibit, the Patty Jett Summer Art Program Fundraiser and donations. We could not do it without your generous support.

Registration forms will be available at Cedar Keyhole Artist Co-op
