Old Florida Celebration of the Arts
The Old Florida Celebration of the Arts is a juried fine art festival. Over the past 20 years, the festival’s reputation has grown and is now recognized as one of the top small-town art fairs in the nation.
Welcoming 100 artists and averaging 12,000 visitors annually, the event radiates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The island community of Cedar Key is surrounded by the Lower Suwannee and Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuges on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
This free event benefits the Cedar Key Arts Center and the coordinating sponsors, in addition to local nonprofits that serve delicious local seafood.
Each year this Old Florida Celebration of the Arts (OFCA) chooses a theme for its Annual Design Contest – this year’s theme is:
Coastal MemoriesThe OFCA working committee hopes that this theme will inspire a creative design that will be used to promote the spring arts festival in Cedar Key scheduled for April 3 and 4, 2027. The winning artwork will be used on posters, postcards, t-shirts and other promotional items for the festival. Please Mark Your Calendars and plan to come to this year’s two-day event. Come and support our small island community by enjoying this year’s festival. The Cedar Key Arts Center is the Coordinating Sponsor for the Annual Spring Arts Festival in Cedar Key which began in 1964.
